Third parcel of agricultural land goes on sale near Tadcaster this year

Rural property consultancy Lister Haigh has been appointed to sell a third major piece of agricultural land near Tadcaster this year, following the successful sale of two other parcels in the area, highlighting strong demand for high quality agricultural land locally.
This latest listing comprises 29.77 acres of Grade 2 agricultural land at Healaugh, which is four miles from Tadcaster. It is currently sown with grass and has previously been used to grow productive combinable and root crops before entering an agri-environment scheme.
The land has a right of access from Wighill Lane and is also available as three separate lots comprising 7.75, 7.80 and 14.22 acres. The entire field has a guide price of £450,000, whilst the individual lots are priced at £125,000 each for the smaller lots and £200,000 for the larger lot.
Earlier this year Lister Haigh sold 78.40 acres of Grade 2 arable and grassland at Wighill Park with a guide price of £840,000, as well as 16.15 acres off Wighill Lane at Healaugh, which was marketed with a guide price of £190,000.
